A personal invitation to start the year differently

I’ve been thinking a lot about how the best product leaders set the tone for a successful year.
The strongest leaders I know start the year by sharpening their judgment. They pressure-test their thinking early, and they put themselves in rooms where ideas get challenged, not validated.
That’s why I’m putting special emphasis on something happening next week in New York.
On January 22, we are hosting an in-person Product Speakers Series in New York City, in partnership with CLEAR. It’s a small, invite-only evening designed for product leaders who want to start the year grounded in real conversations.
The event will be hosted by Vartika Rawat, New York Head of Chapter and Senior Director of Product at Capital One, alongside members of our Product Advisory Council. The focus is simple and deliberate: candid discussion, practical frameworks, and honest perspectives on building products that create real human value while scaling commercially.
I believe deeply in the value of being in the room. Some of the most important insights in product never show up in content. They emerge in conversation, in disagreement, and in moments where someone says the thing everyone else has been thinking but hasn’t said out loud yet.
That’s what this evening is built for.
