We’re on a roll with award announcements non-stop. This a sign of the exponentially growing momentum and excitement for product! Today, I’m delighted to share that the winners of Products That Count’s prestigious 2024 Product Awards in Cybersecurity, Fintech, and Healthtech have been announced!
In Q1, we celebrated the rise of AI, marking a significant milestone in Products That Count history. From 650 nominations five years ago to 6,000 today, we’ve witnessed explosive growth. We anticipate this number to reach 15,000 by 2027, underscoring the critical role of product management in driving innovation.
In Q2, we shifted our focus to emerging sectors. What surprised me most was the convergence of all innovations. Fintech and cybersecurity winners are not just specialists in their fields; they are also AI builders. For example, in fintech, we see applications enhancing payment solutions and digital banking. In cybersecurity, innovative applications focus on protecting data and maintaining trust in our digital age. Our healthtech winners, too, are revolutionizing healthcare with AI-driven diagnostics and personalized medicine, transforming patient care and accessibility. Despite their specific domains, a common thread runs through all these innovative companies: AI.
This convergence is evident as multiple innovation sectors blend together. Out of 6,000 nominations in 2024, more than two-thirds (over 4,000) are AI companies, highlighting the pervasive influence of AI across various industries. The cross-industry collaboration further emphasizes how sectors like cybersecurity, fintech, and healthtech are integrating to ensure comprehensive protection and compliance.
